by David Crowe
This book is a true story about the life of David who spent his early years on a Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona and New Mexico. His dad was a vicious man who was also a murderer who spent time in San Quentin. His dad manipulated David through his life including abusing him physically and psychologically. Through grit, resilience, and a thirst for learning, he managed to escape his abusive childhood, graduate from college, and build a successful lobbying firm in Washington, D.C. David learned late in life he had to forgive people to move on from his dramatic past. This is something that is hard for each of us to do. But, it is a necessity to move on in life.
