What did I learn from the book? Jesus was the master storyteller. He could take any complex doctrine and make it so simplistic while giving it new depth and insight. These narratives epitomized the plain, powerful profundity of His message and His teaching style. So many of the parables are outlined in this book, and Mr. Macarthur does a wonderful job pointing out things that I didn’t know or realize were there. After reading this book, I have a better understanding of these parables and Jesus’ central lesson in each.
How will I use this book in the future? I plan on sharing my newfound knowledge with others and look forward to recounting the depth and illustration through discussion with others who read this book.
