The book was written by Pastor Tony Evans. As a kingdom man, you are not from this earth. Scripture states clearly that you have been seated with Christ in the heavenly realm (Ephesians 2:6). Because of this, we can operate with a kingdom set of rules backed by kingdom authority that has the power, to transform our ordinary life into an extraordinary one. Being a kingdom man is more than just being a great football player, a great businessman, a successful community leader, or a wealthy individual. Being a kingdom man means aligning yourself under the headship and authority of Jesus Christ. With this backing, we have the power and authority of Jesus to positively influence and impact everything and everyone within our realm. Once we have left what Jesus has called us to do, and we try to rule other people’s worlds, we are on our own. God is not interested in helping you advance your own kingdom, someone else’s kingdom, or to rule it. He has designated specific authority for specific individuals to work according to a specific plan to best advance His kingdom.
Society has tried through people, money, and programs to save itself. Yet we continue to decline at an ever-increasing rate. The only way to make our nation whole again is if kingdom men will work together to create change. We, kingdom men, must infuse God back into society, because when God is dismissed from society, so are morality, decency, values, and the stability of all our our tomorrows. We must work toward the common goal of glorifying God through the advancement of His kingdom by exhibiting responsibility and leadership in our personal, family, church, and community lives. The solution is already in place. The question is, “What are you going to do with the authority God has given you?”
