This book was written originally in 1563 by John Foxe and was added to through the next few centuries. This book recounts the savage killing of so many followers of Christ from the apostles to the Protestants. It is not a book for someone who has a weak stomach. The savageness of the Catholic church is recorded in finite detail how they killed so many Protestants. I had my doubts about the Catholic faith but now I dare to say the Catholic church is even Christian. The things they did to men, women, and children fails in comparison what the pagans did to Christians. I am so proud of the early martyr’s for the earnest following of Jesus Christ. Their faith never waivered. This book will give you the strength to stand up for Christianity all the more.
