God Will Use This For Good

1. Why did I read this book? Well, my sister sent it to me to read. It is a very short book, but discusses surviving the mess of life. It is written by Max Lucado.
2. What did I learn form reading this book? The book gives several scenarios in life with tough situations. The books then move to the story of Joseph in the Bible. When he was throw into a cistern, sold by his brothers, went to prison, and succeeded by becoming the Prime Minister. Then, the books centers around the word “through.” It gives several scenarios about how God helped people through impossible circumstances. When bad things arise it forces us to look upward. The author then reminds us while we are down we need to formulate a plan and let God give us some steps we can take to survive a crisis. We must remember God is in the crisis with us. Lastly, we must remain calm and look for resources to assist us in our time of need.

3.How will the book contribute to my success upon release? I believe it will help me by knowing I am never alone. God is always with me during my time of need. I must remain calm no matter the situation where I can devise, with the leading of the Lord, a plan to succeed, much like Joseph.
