Eternity. What is it? How can we understand it? The truth is that eternity cannot be mentally comprehended. Our minds are finite, prohibited from grasping perpetual or everlasting concepts. In fact, eternity is only known in our hearts. It is born in every human being. This is why “the fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God'” (Psalm 14:17). Even though eternity is in our hearts it cannot be comprehended using our minds. Eternity is everlasting; there is no end to it. It transcends time. God is eternal. In fact, eternity is found in Him. All that is outside of Him is temporal and will change no matter how good, noble, powerful, or enduing it may seem, it will eventually cease. What God speaks is eternal. He does not lie, nor can what He says be broken. If it weren’t so, then all would collapse, for He is the light we live and He upholds all things by His Word. If we are not driven by eternity, we will live and communicate more to benefit this life instead of seeing life from an eternal perspective. It is our privilege to serve a God who is eternal and has built us a place for the rest of our lives.
Because I have been spending a lot of quality time with God lately, I know I will have an eternal life with my Lord and Savior. And, the more intimately I come to know God and His ways, the more I know I have an eternal place I can call home.
Too God be the Glory Michael as I read your 3 last book reports I’m so encouraged in the way you are growing in your faith, stay after it!

Wonderful post Mike. We are absolutely nothing out side of God. We forget many times it’s about HIM. Love you brother.
